Poznámka: Note: | 108. smíšená brigáda byla zformována rekruty v březnu 1937 v Los Molinos, La Unión, El Algar a Los Llanos, prvním velitelem jednotky byl podplukovník pěchoty Gregorio Espinós Ridaura. 28. dubna se zúčastnila operace na Oropese a v květnu 1937 se přesunula na frontu Huesca, kde operovala s 25. divizí. Vrátila se na frontu u Madridu, aby se připojila k 47. divizi „Duran“ pro bitvu u Brunete. 8. července 1937 se velitel brigády podplukovník Espinós pokusil přejít k národním silám, a při tomto pokusu byl zastřelen. Dočasným velitelem brigády byl jmenován major Mariano Tomás Lozano. 9. července brigáda postupovala na Perales de Milla, ale byla zastavena a ku koncu bitvy se vyznamenala obranou pozic západně od Brunete. Po Brunete brigáda přešla k 14. divizi jako záloha centrální armády a později k 69. divizi I. armádního sboru, která kryla neaktivní madridskou frontu v sektoru Perales de Canchal. | The 108th Mixed Brigade was formed by recruits in March 1937 in Los Molinos, La Unión, El Algar and Los Llanos, the unit's first commander was Lt. Col. Gregorio Espinós Ridaura. On April 28, she took part in the operation on Oropese and in May 1937 she moved to the Huesca front, where she operated with the 25th Division. She returned to the front near Madrid to join the 47th "Duran" Division for the Battle of Brunete. On July 8, 1937, Lt. Col. Espinós, the brigade commander, attempted to transfer to the national forces, and was shot dead in that attempt. Major Mariano Tomás Lozano was appointed temporary brigade commander. On July 9, the brigade advanced on the Perales de Milla, but was stopped and at the end of the battle distinguished itself by defending positions west of Brunete. After Brunete the brigade moved to the 14th Division as a reserve of the Central Army and later to the 69th Division of the 1st Army Corps, which covered the inactive Madrid Front in the Perales de Canchal sector. |
