Kalejs, Aleksandrs

General Aleksandrs KALĒJS (L.k.o.k.) (26 Feb 1876 - 14 Feb 1934)
After spending most of World War I as a German POW, returned to Latvia and joined the Army on May 31, 1919 as Captain. Died in 1934 while on active service.

6 Aug 1929 - 14 Feb 1934: Chief of the General Staff
