Poznámka: Note: | I. armádní sbor byl vytvořen 22. března 1937, v rámci Armádního velitelství Střed, seskupující 1., 2., 3. a 10. divizi. Měl své velitelské stanoviště v La Pedriza de Manzanares. Některé síly I. armádního sboru se zúčastnily ofenzivy v Segovii v červnu 1937. Do dalších relevantních operací již nezasáhly. V březnu 1939, kdy došlo k převratu, se síly I. sboru postavily proti frakci „Casadista“ a podařilo se jim zaujmout několik klíčových pozic v hlavním městě. Velitel jednotky plukovník Luis Barceló vedl odpor proti silám „Casadista“. Během krátké doby se většina Madridu dostala do rukou I. sboru. Po skončení bojů byl velitelem I. armádního sboru jmenován José Gallego Pérez | The I Army Corps was created on March 22, 1937, within the Army Headquarters Center, grouping the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 10th Divisions. He had his command post at La Pedriza de Manzanares. Some forces of the I Army Corps took part in the Segovia offensive in June 1937. They did not intervene in other relevant operations. In March 1939, when the coup took place, the forces of the I Corps opposed the "Casadista" faction and succeeded in taking several key positions in the capital. The commander of the unit, Colonel Luis Barceló, led the resistance against the "Casadista" forces. Within a short time, most of Madrid fell into the hands of the I Corps. After the end of the fighting, José Gallego Pérez was appointed commander of the I Army Corps |
