Brigáda byla přidělena k 21. divizi s velitelstvím v Jaénu a v květnu k ní byly přiděleny sektory Frailes-Rivera Alta a Baja-Mures-Charrilla. | The 80th Mixed Brigade was formed in February 1937 on the Jaén-Granada front with the "Granada" and "Maroto" battalions, militia forces from the Noalejo sector. The brigade was assigned to the 21st Division with headquarters in Jaén, and in May the Frailes-Rivera Alta and Baja-Mures-Charrilla sectors were assigned to it. In October 1938, she was relieved of her positions by the 106th Mixed Brigade, while the 80th Mixed Brigade underwent reorganization in the Martos and Torredonjimeno area. In November, he was to take part in the attack on Granada, but the operation was ultimately unsuccessful and instead took part, together with the 78th Mixed Brigade, in the attack against the Tózar-Limones sector - which almost destroyed its 3rd Battalion. Her opponents considered her "one of the best in the Andalusian army. Her morale is good." She never left the 21st Division or her sector on a completely inactive front. |
