| Poznámka: Note: | 6. smíšená brigáda byla založena v říjnu 1936 v Murcii, téměř výhradně s vojenskými silami z levantské oblasti. Vzhledem k zoufalé válečné situaci v Madridu se 6. brigáda přesunula na frontu hlavního města. Dne 5. listopadu 1936 zřizuje své velitelské stanoviště v Morata de Tajuña. At Belchita, the 6th Mixed Brigade was part of Modesto's reserve force, but soon became involved in the fight against Mediana. After the Battle of Belchite, the 6th Mixed Brigade remained garrisoned in this very sector and remained there throughout the winter of the Battle of Teruel, and was surprised here by the National Offensive of the spring of 1938, right where the attack had been launched. The brigade was unable to resist the formidable artillery preparation of the enemy, nor was it able to prevent the front from being broken and the formation of a pocket where it closed Aguilón and Fuendetodos with its weak forces. In its retreat, the 6th Mixed Brigade crossed the Ebro at Pina on 11 March and launched a counterattack against the Alcañiz-Castelserás bridgehead six days later. During the reorganization on the Ebro, the 6th Mixed Brigade was incorporated into the 19th Division. In August 1938, the brigade returned with the 19th division to the Extremadura front. She took part in heavy fighting in Castuera, where she lost many soldiers. She was withdrawn from the front to return to Madrid to be reorganized and later moved to Requena to return to the Extremadura front in September.
