| Poznámka: Note: | 219. smíšená brigáda byla zformována 24. srpna 1937 v Daimielu a byla začleněna do 68. divize XX. armádního sboru v Ciudad Real. Brigáda absolvovala svůj křest ohněm až na začátku bitvy u Teruelu, ve které byla pověřena úkolem prorazit frontu sektorem Villastar, počínaje Manzanedou. 15. prosince začala ofenzíva, ale 219. smíšené brigádě se podařilo jen slabě proniknout přes Villaespesa, která byla o několik dní později obklíčena. Při závěrečném útoku na Teruel byla jednotka ve druhém sledu na levém křídle a 22. prosince zaútočila na náměstí. Její výkon byl brilantní a 1. ledna 1938 zabránil jednotkám národních sil prerušit obléhání Teruelu. Zlomená bojem ve městě a krutou zimou musela být stažena k reorganizaci v Extremadurě, ale v únoru vrátila se na Teruelskou frontu. Jednotka nebyla zapojena do třídenní bitvy u Alfambry, protože její pozice v sektoru Valdecebros byly daleko od hlavního dění. Po bitvě u Teruelu a rozpuštění 68. divize byla 219. smíšená brigáda kompletně reorganizována a začleněna do 66. divize XIX. armádního sboru. V posledních měsících války se 219 smíšená brigáda, stala součástí 73. divize XVII. armádního sboru, se kterou zamířil na frontu Estremadura. 7. ledna 1939 se zapojila do bitvy u Peñarroya u Jaenu a 13. ledna neúspěšně zaútočila na oblast Moritos-Mataborracha. Boje trvaly až do 22. ledna. Byla to poslední vojenská akce 219. smíšené brigády. | The 219th Mixed Brigade was formed on 24 August 1937 in Daimiel and was incorporated into the 68th XX Division. of the Army Corps in Ciudad Real. The brigade received its baptism of fire only at the beginning of the Battle of Teruel, in which it was tasked with breaking through the front through the Villastar sector, starting with Manzaneda. On 15 December, the offensive began, but the 219th Mixed Brigade only managed to make a weak breakthrough through Villaespesa, which was encircled a few days later. In the final attack on Teruel, the unit was in the second echelon on the left wing and attacked the square on 22 December. Her performance was brilliant and on January 1, 1938, she prevented National Forces troops from breaking the siege of Teruel. Broken by the fighting in the city and the harsh winter, it had to be withdrawn to reorganize in Extremadura, but returned to the Teruel front in February. The unit was not involved in the three-day battle of Alfambra, as its positions in the Valdecebros sector were far from the main action. After the Battle of Teruel and the dissolution of the 68th Division, the 219th Mixed Brigade was completely reorganized and incorporated into the 66th Division of the XIX. army corps. When the National Forces reached the sea, the 219th Mixed Brigade took over the task of holding up their advance on Valencia to the extreme left of the line, i.e. in the sector nearest Teruel. This sector was left out of the scope of the national force offensive. After the fall of Castellón, in June 1938 the brigade joined the XYZ Line in the Guadalaviar Valley, where it resisted until the Battle of the Ebro. In the last months of the war, the 219th mixed brigade became part of the 73rd Division XVII. army corps, with which he headed to the Estremadura front. On 7 January 1939, she took part in the Battle of Peñarroya near Jaen and on 13 January she unsuccessfully attacked the Moritos-Mataborracha area. The fighting lasted until January 22. It was the last military action of the 219th Mixed Brigade. |
