211. smíšená brigáda byla zformována v srpnu 1937 v Tortose s 3., 5. a 37. praporu sboru karabinierů. 12. The 211th Mixed Brigade was formed in August 1937 in Tortosa with the 3rd, 5th and 37th Battalions of the Carabinieri Corps. It then moved to Suez and Sagunto, from where it left for the Aragon front. On September 1, together with the "Garibaldi" brigade, it attacked the positions of the national forces of Los Pedruscos, but did not achieve its objectives. She remained at Aliaga until 28/9 when she moved to Azaila to intervene in the Battle of Belchit. From October 1 to 11, she waged an intense battle here in front of Code, defended by Tercio de Montserrat. After the battle, it became a reserve of the XII. army corps. On February 12, 1938, it reinforced the 27th Division in the Montalbán sector and then, on March 10, it was sent to Lécera with the mission of plugging the collapse of the Belchite front. A day later it withdrew to the Oliete-Alarcón area and on 13.3. left the cities of Ariño, Alloza and Andorra. In view of the losses suffered, she was withdrawn from the front and sent to cover the area of the Guadalope River, Calandy and Foz de Calandy. One of its battalions remained north of the Ebro, beset by troops of the 5th Navarre Division, which had crossed the river via Quinto. The rest of the brigade cooperated in an unsuccessful attack on the Castellserás and Alcañiz bridgeheads. 23.3. lost positions to the right of Guadalope and 1.8 km south of the road from Zaragoza to Castellón, retreated to Valdealgorfa, defended tenaciously, but finally on 28.3. she retreated. On April 3, the 211th Mixed Brigade was in the offensive sector of General Aranda's troops, engaged in intense fighting that ended in a gradual withdrawal to Alcalá de Chisvert, where it was withdrawn from the front line to join the XXI Army's 22nd Division. corps with which he intervened in the battle of Levante. After the Battle of the Levant, the 211th Mixed Brigade was subordinated to the 40th Division of the XVII until the end of the war. Army Corps, on a front that had been practically inactive since the beginning of the Battle of the Levant.
